What is a scuba flag? Commonly refered to as a scuba flag, the name is actually "diver down flag". The flag is used to designate that a diver is in the water. It is red with a white strip that runs diagonally from the top left to bottom right. Boats use a blue and white alpha scuba flag to signal that they are engaged in diving operations.
