What is a scuba flag? Commonly refered to as a scuba flag, the name is actually "diver down flag". The flag is used to designate that a diver is in the water. It is red with a white strip that runs diagonally from the top left to bottom right. Boats use a blue and white alpha scuba flag to signal that they are engaged in diving operations.

Hello, Welcome to the Scuba Flag. The Idea came to us while some of us were looking to buy some new scuba diving gear. We searched the internet for days, trying to pick the right gear for our level of certification but have found very little useful, relevant and objective information. The idea behind “Scuba Flag” is to gather as much objective Scuba related information and publish it all in one place, a review. We would like to see objective gear reviews, dive site reviews as well as photos and proffessional scuba related articles. We hope to diving stories, equipment reviews and articles of the places we have visited during diving trips, vacations and travels.
